2025 VW Atlas Cross Sport Adds New Trim and Paint Colors

The Atlas Cross Sport is a slightly smaller, sportier version of the larger VW Atlas. With two rows of seating and room for up to five, this midsize SUV has a stylish profile, a spacious cabin, and an impressive amount of standard equipment.

Significantly refreshed for 2024, the Atlas Cross Sport has minor changes for 2025. This sporty mid-size SUV has a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, which delivers 269 horsepower and 273 lb.-ft. of torque. It boasts more responsiveness and stronger acceleration, ensuring smooth handling and fun behind the wheel.

Key highlights of what’s new for the 2025 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport

• A wireless charging pad is standard on all Cross Sport trim levels
• Automatic high beams are now part of the IQ Drive Safety Suite
• New SEL R-line Black trim with black exterior accents
• The inclusion of an AI-powered voice assistant supported by ChatGPT
• Massaging front seats have been added to SEL Premium R-Line trim

All 2025 Atlas Cross Sport trims have a standard 12-inch infotainment display along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.  

The all-new Atlas Cross Sport SEL-R Line Black model takes the R line trim up a notch with blacked-out exterior trim, a leather steering wheel cover, and aluminum pedal covers.  

SEL Premium R-Line is still the top-tier trim with the most advanced features, including a premium sound system, digital instrument cluster, and R-Line styling accents. 

For the exterior, its sporty silhouette comes in nine new exterior color choices, including two brand-new options. Exterior paint colors include the following:
