The Atlas is the largest SUV in the VW lineup, offering a versatile interior with seating for up to seven. 2026 Volkswagen Taos

As Volkswagen’s most compact SUV, the Taos proves that great things come in small packages. This subcompact delivers impressive fuel efficiency and a tech-savvy cabin. Following a comprehensive refresh for 2025, the latest version of the Taos maintains modern styling updates, advanced technology features, and refined powertrain enhancements. Safety improvements include standard rear-seat pretensioners, while convenience gets a boost from an upgraded 15-watt wireless charging system added during the previous model year.

2026 Volkswagen  ID.4 – VW’s Electric SUV

Slightly larger than the Taos, the ID.4 is Volkswagen’s all-electric compact SUV. The versatile interior provides up to 64.2 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded, while five available trims let you customize your driving experience.

Building on significant improvements in the 2024 model—including improved infotainment, updated software, and a more powerful rear motor that boosted both performance and a greater EPA-estimated range—the ID.4 continues to evolve. Volkswagen has announced a mid-2026 update with additional features, but full details aren’t available yet.

Currently, the 2026 ID.4 features:
